How is your commission calculated?

Commission is a fixed percentage of the final sale value of the lot, agreed before the auction and written on the same weight sheet as the sale. There are no hidden deductions: mandi charges, labour and bagging are listed separately so you can see exactly what came off the total.

When do I get paid after my chilli is sold?

Growers are settled as soon as the buyer clears, normally the same day or the next working day for local sales. Larger trade and export lots follow the payment term written on the contract, and we share the buyer's schedule with you before we accept the deal.

Is there a minimum quantity to sell through you?

No. We accept single-trolley grower lots as well as full container quantities. Small lots are grouped with similar grades so they still reach serious buyers rather than being sold at a discount.

Do you arrange transport from Kunri to my city or port?

Yes. We book trusted trucking from Mirch Mandi Kunri to any city in Pakistan and to Karachi Port for export shipments, and share the vehicle and driver details with the buyer before loading.

How is the chilli packed and can packing be customised?

Accepted Answer

Standard packing is jute or PP bags of the weight your market prefers, with clear lot marking. Export buyers can specify bag weight, liner, marking and palletisation in the enquiry form and we quote against that specification.

Can you hold my lot in storage until prices improve?

Short-term holding is possible for dry, correctly graded lots. We advise on drying and moisture first, because a lot stored above safe moisture loses colour and value faster than the price gain.

Where do your rate updates come from?

Rates come from actual Kunri mandi trade plus published Pakistani market feeds, refreshed through the day during the season. We publish ranges by grade rather than one headline number, because a Grade A lot and a stalky lot never sell at the same price.

When is the best time in the season to sell?

Peak arrivals push prices down and late-season dry stock usually earns more, but it depends on your moisture and colour. Use the crop calendar for sowing, picking and arrival windows and the weather page for drying conditions before you decide.

How do you grade a red chilli lot?

We assess colour, moisture, stalk content, breakage, foreign matter and size uniformity, then place the lot in Grade A, B or C, or hold it for reconditioning. Every deduction is explained to the grower on the spot.

Can I check what grade my lot is likely to get before bringing it?

Do you provide a written specification sheet for buyers?

Yes. For trade and export enquiries we issue a specification sheet covering colour, moisture, ASTA where tested, pungency, stalk and packing for the exact lot being offered.

Which countries do you supply?

Kunri chilli from our shop moves to buyers in the Gulf, South Asia and beyond. Our country desks list the grades, packing and documentation each market normally asks for.

How do I raise an export enquiry?

Accepted Answer

Use the export enquiry form with your country, quantity, delivery port and Incoterms. You receive a proforma-style acknowledgement with a reference number, and we reply with grades, packing and an indicative price.

Do you help with export documentation?

Accepted Answer

We coordinate the paperwork a Pakistani chilli shipment needs, including invoice and packing list details, phytosanitary and origin documents, and lab testing when the buyer requires it.

Can a price be locked in before delivery?

Forward arrangements are possible for known grades and quantities, with the terms written down and both sides confirming before the lot moves. We only offer it where we are confident the quality can be repeated.

What protects me against a buyer not paying?

We deal with buyers we know and settle growers against cleared funds or an agreed written term, never on a verbal promise. For new export buyers we work on advance or documentary terms.

What happens if the buyer disputes quality on arrival?

Sampling and grading are recorded before dispatch, so a dispute is settled against a documented specification rather than opinion. Where a genuine variance is proved, we mediate a fair adjustment between grower and buyer.
